Recipe for going green





Recently I have found myself craving healthy and fresh foods (maybe it’s the guilt kicking in that I am a serious chocoholic and don’t want baba to be the same!)

So its safe to say I’ve become more than obsessed with making  smoothies – nothing is safe in our fridge as i’m willing to blend almost any veggie/ fruit combo to see the results.  So far my fave energy booster for any time of day (but I prefer breakfast) has been the following recipe:

1/2 Avacado, 1 banana, 1 apple, 2 kiwis, a stick of celery 2 big handfulls of spinach and a glass of water  – I feel very virtuous slurping away whilst Big D looks at the green smoothie concoction in horror!!
