Vogue mama loves…

I haven't done one of these posts for a while, I'm not sure why…well, maybe I do its because I forget things….a lot! I always tell myself I will remember but when the time comes I haven't a clue what I wanted to write about- note to self: must purchase a handy note pad for my bag. Anyways back to what's been making me smile this week….

Dogs in clothes. When I'm going through my daily 'I have nothing to wear' my current favourite, Trotter the Hipster French Bulldog always make me chuckle (and sometimes gives me inspiration!)

Is it a bad thing that I already miss the British high street? And don't even get me started on missing out on the Isabel Marant for H&M collection….

Coffee…. Aussies if there is one thing you know how to do..it's a damn good coffee. And boy have I needed it lately. I'm not sure what we're doing wrong but the little fella is still not making it through the night, heck he can't get past three hours without waking and he seems to think 5am is a perfectly reasonable time to wake up. I do not. No amount of touché eclait is covering up my big ol' bags from too many broken sleeps. Thank goodness I can hide behind sunglasses.

 

Halloween. Not so much celebrated here in Oz which is weird considering it is very Americanised in so many other ways but hey that's not stopped me making these ghoultastic treats!

Here's how:

You will need:

A bunch of small bananas

A bar of good quality white chocolate

Milk chocolate drops

Lollipop/Popsicle sticks depending on where in the world you may be reading this

Break up the white chocolate and pop in a bowl and melt either over a pan of simmering water (making sure that the water doesn't touch the bowl). You can also melt the chocolate in a microwave.

Peel and chop your bananas in half and carefully wiggle the cut side of the banana onto the lollipop stick.

Now, either dip the bananas into the chocolate or spoon the chocolate over the banana whichever works best for you and place onto a cling film lined baking sheet. Pop two chocolate chips onto each banana to make eyes and place in the freezer until the pesky trick or treaters come a knockin'!
