Did someone say date night?

Date. Night. Two words I haven't heard in the same sentence for a very looooonnnng time. To say we were overdue some alone time would be the understatement of the year, we practically ran out of the house when my sister agreed to mind Ralph so we could go watch a movie under the stars!

Armed with blankets and treats we drove over to Northbridge for a rooftop showing of E.T. Its not everyday that you can take a lift to the top floor in a car park to be greeted by this:

Once we got acquainted with the flamingos and found our seats, we headed over to the bar for a drink.

Big D found his new favourite cider and I secretly patted myself on the back for arranging a cool date!

I would recommend you get there early to catch the sunset over the city skyline as the views as the sun goes down is pretty cool (plus you can also pre- order pizza if you are that way inclined.)

As the sun set, the movie screen lit up and we snuggled into our blankets and enjoyed two hours of Ralph free movie bliss.

Happy New Year's Eve guys & gals.
